The lecture was hosted by Professor Wang Bo, Dean of the w88 casino of International Development Cooperation.

In the lecture, Dr. Li Yue used the World Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Development Bank as cases to teach teachers and students about the development and evolution of international multilateral development banks, development goals, organizational structures, operating rules and demand for talents. He also had in-depth interactions with teachers and students of w88 casino and answered students' questions about international development, international economic governance and the quality requirements of talents required by international organizations.

Before and after the lecture, Dr. Li Yue held discussions with Dean Wang Bo of the w88 casino of International Development and Cooperation, Dean Yin Xiaopeng of the Institute of Global Value Chain, Vice Dean Yang Hangjun of the w88 casino of International Economics and w88, and Deputy Director Wang Shanshan of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange on relevant academic issues and future exchanges and cooperation. Speaker resume:Li Yue, Chinese, is a senior economist in the Office of the Chief Economist for Infrastructure at the World Bank Group. He joined the World Bank Group in 2010 through the Young Professionals Program. Her areas of expertise include international economics, firm dynamics, economic geography and urban economics, and she has published academic papers in the Journal of International Economics and the Journal of Urban Economics. Li Yue has held various positions within the World Bank Group, including in the Research Department, Economist Network, Office of the Chief Economist for South Asia, and Global Investment Environment. From 2021 to 2024, she served as a senior economist at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, leading the research function of its Economics Department. Li Yue holds a PhD in economics from Rutgers University, a master's degree in economics and political science from Syracuse University, and a bachelor's degree from Peking University.
