The research team included Gao Yuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Development and Reform Commission, and the China World w88 Organization Research InstituteAssociate researcher Du Yingxin,Dai Zhen, director of the college office, Gao Jian, chief of the teaching and academic affairs department, and others. Zhang Hui, Director of the Institute of International Law of Wuhan University, Qi Tong, Vice President of the Institute of International Rule of Law of Wuhan University, and Liao Li, Associate Professor of the Institute of International Law of Wuhan University, attended the symposium.
Zhang Hui extended a warm welcome to the China World w88 Organization Research Institute and introduced relevant information of the participating teachers. Tu Xinquan then elaborated on the main purpose of the survey and introduced the development history and basic situation of the institute. The China World w88 Organization Research Institute and the Institute of International Law of Wuhan University are both key research bases in the humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education. They jointly shoulder the important mission of serving national strategies and promoting the development of disciplines. As an outstanding representative of the Ministry of Education’s key research base in humanities and social sciences, the Institute of International Law of Wuhan University has made remarkable achievements in institutional innovation, academic research and think tank construction, and enjoys a wide reputation. The purpose of this survey is to learn from the advanced experience of Wuhan University Institute of International Law in strategic planning, scientific research organization, achievement transformation and serving national strategies.
During the discussion, Zhang Hui gave a comprehensive introduction to the overall development of the Institute of International Law of Wuhan University, and shared the institute’s development history and initiatives in terms of organizational structure, scientific research team building, and social services. Qi Tong made a special introduction on the relevant experience and effectiveness of think tank construction; Liao Li elaborated on the research progress of the institute in the field of WTO law. The two sides also conducted in-depth exchanges on topics such as the scientific research incentive mechanism and the scientific research achievement evaluation system.
