Based on the background of frequent financial sanctions incidents in the international community in recent years, Professor Fu Jun started from the basic connotation of international financial sanctions, combined with the specific contents of U.S. jurisdiction, foreign exchange transactions, payments and other aspects involved in the financial sanctions methods of foreign financial institutions in the U.S. "Hong Kong Autonomy Act of 2020", and gave a comprehensive and systematic introduction to the basic concepts and main features of international financial sanctions, currency exchange and international settlement systems. During the lecture, Professor Fu Jun summarized and analyzed the three main methods of US foreign financial sanctions and their impact. Professor Fu Jun believes that in the current strategic competitive landscape, my country should take precautions and take multiple measures to accelerate the construction of a diversified international settlement system, promote the global use of the RMB settlement system, and promote the internationalization of the RMB through the transformation of w88 structure and reform of the foreign exchange system.
