He believed that antitrust law enforcement and supervision are market-oriented and pay attention to case differences, which can better solve the problems encountered in the development and innovation of the technology market.
Professor Alex further made a horizontal comparison of GDPR, DMA, DSA, AI Act and other EU laws and regulations related to the development of the digital and platform economy. It is pointed out that DMA aims to strengthen market competitiveness, protect digital innovation, improve consumer choice opportunities, and achieve fair competition in the digital market through ex-ante equal opportunities and ex-post redistribution mechanisms. It is emphasized that DMA and DSA are not products of w88 protectionism. The gatekeeper obligations only target the increasingly worrying illegal behaviors of super platforms that exclude and restrict competition and undermine the overall welfare of society.
