The opening ceremony was hosted by Zou Xinyue, Vice President of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics. The themes of the Chinese sub-forums are macroeconomics, capital markets and asset pricing, corporate finance, digital economy, financial innovation and financial stability, banks and financial intermediaries; the themes of the English sub-forums are Asset Pricing and Capital Markets (I), Household Finance, Climate Risks and Finance, Asset Pricing and Capital Markets (II), Fintech and Green Finance, and Corporate Finance. More than 100 guests from more than 40 universities and well-known financial institutions across the country conducted in-depth interactions and exchanges around the above topics.
On the afternoon of December 15, the closing ceremony of the forum was held in Room 307, Shangxue Building, hosted by Dean Cai Weixing. Dean Wang Tianyi and Professor Hou Kewei announced the list of winners of outstanding papers in Chinese and English respectively, and presented awards to the winners. The Financial Academic and Policy Forum was jointly initiated by the w88 casino and the Journal of Empirical Finance in 2018. The journals "Economic Research", "Economics (Quarterly)", "International Financial Research" and "Financial Supervision Research" provide academic support. More than 70 universities across the country participate in the annual academic conference, which has been successfully held for six sessions so far.
