The Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China regarded "green development" as one of the five major development concepts, focusing on solving the problem of harmony between man and nature. During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, we must adhere to the basic national policy of conserving resources and protecting the environment, firmly follow the path of civilized development of production development, affluent life, and good ecology, coordinately promote the prosperity of the people, the prosperity of the country, and the beauty of China, and form a new pattern of modernization in which man and nature develop harmoniously.
A good ecological environment is the fairest public product and the most universally beneficial people's livelihood and well-being. Promoting green development requires hard work to achieve results.
