Gao Wenjun, deputy secretary-general of the Xiaomi Charity Foundation, came to give guidance. Representatives from the Party Committee’s Graduate Student Affairs Department, Party Committee’s Student Affairs Department, Alumni and Fund Affairs Office, Party Committee Propaganda Department, Admissions and Employment Department, Graduate w88 casino, Academic Affairs Office and other relevant departments served as judges.
The Xiaomi Charity Foundation will set up Xiaomi Scholarships and Bursaries in w88 casino from 2022 to encourage outstanding students in w88 casino to strive for self-improvement, study diligently, and be brave in innovation, and to support outstanding students with difficult family life to successfully complete their studies. In his speech, Gao Wenjun, deputy secretary-general of Xiaomi Charity Foundation, introduced the development history and mission vision of Xiaomi Group, shared the results of Xiaomi Charity Foundation’s public welfare practices since its establishment six years ago, and emphasized Xiaomi’s focus on technological innovation and talent cultivation. After application by students and recommendations from training units in the early stage, a total of 13 undergraduate candidates and 33 master's candidates entered the defense session of this review meeting. They came on stage in order of drawing lots and reported their results through a combination of speeches and video presentations.
After more than two hours of fierce competition, a total of 10 undergraduate students won the special scholarship, and 16 graduate students finally won the Xiaomi scholarship. Deputy Secretary-General of Xiaomi Foundation Gao Wenjun announced the winners and expressed warm congratulations to everyone.
