The seminar is divided into two topics. First, we will discuss the topic “The impact of Brazil’s economic and social development on the BRICS countries and the world economy”. Zhou Zhiwei, executive director of the Brazilian National Research Center of the Institute of Latin American Studies of the Academy of Social Sciences, introduced the content of the speech with questions such as the current economic problems in Brazil, the way out to solve the economic problems, and the impact of the international challenges faced by China and Brazil. Wang Qingyuan, former Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Brazil, Wan Yu, Director of the Mexican Studies Center of the Department of Western Languages, Shanghai International Studies University,Rodrigo Sabatini, Vice President of the College of Campinas in Brazil, gave wonderful speeches and answered a series of questions from the participants.
The second topic focused on "The Status and Role of Cooperation between China and Brazil in the BRICS".
