At the beginning of the event, everyone watched the video commemorating the 20th anniversary of the China WTO Research Institute and reviewed the institute's 20-year training history. Later, Secretary-General Wang Xiaojun of the Alumni Association welcomed the alumni of China WTO Institute back to campus and introduced the basic situation of the University of w88 and Economics Alumni Association. The ship of the institute is sailing out to sea, with the dean at the helm and steering the ship. Professor Tu Xinquan, President of the China WTO Research Institute Alumni Association and Dean of the China WTO Research Institute, took the stage and delivered a speech. He expressed his deep thoughts for the alumni and said that the home-like warm atmosphere of the Institute was an important reason why half of the alumni returned today. Based on his personal experience, he urged everyone to believe in the power of concentration. The institute has always been committed to research and talent cultivation in the WTO field. This focus is crucial to the long-term development of students. Subsequently, Professor Zhang Hanlin, the first dean of the Graduate w88 casino and honorary president of the w88 casino Alumni Association, took the stage to deliver a speech. Professor Zhang Hanlin is the founder and founder of the institute. He combined his study and work journeys, mentioned the deep relationship with teachers at different stages of life, emphasized the importance of teachers in cultivating moral integrity, and expressed his message to all alumni to pursue excellence, tranquility and long-term goals. Researcher Chen Wenjing, a part-time off-campus doctoral supervisor of the institute and former deputy dean of the institute of the Ministry of Commerce, delivered a speech. He told the history of the early days of the institute, affirmed the educational achievements of the institute, and encouraged students to remember the spirit of the institute, cherish time, and ride the wind and waves with his personal experience. Associate Researcher Li Siqi, the representative of the young backbone teachers of the Institute, took the stage to deliver a speech, recalling the good times as a mentor working with students, emphasizing the educator’s responsibility to educate people, calling on current students to cherish their time on campus, and inviting all alumni to join us for a brighter tomorrow of the Institute.
Twenty years of ups and downs, the world of peach and plum blossoms is full of spring. Doctoral alumni representative Jiang Jieyuan is a 2020 doctoral graduate of the institute majoring in world economics. She is the first student sent by our institute to intern at the WTO. She now works in the Political Research Office of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration. When she took the stage to speak, she recalled the precious youth she spent in the institute, described the profound impact of the institute's education on her and her peers' life development, and expressed her confidence and best wishes for the future of the institute. Master's degree alumni representative Lu Yingxia is an alumnus of the Institute's 2013 master's degree in national economics. She is currently the digital marketing operation partner of Mingyuan Cloud Group in North China. She shared her experience in struggling in the corporate world after graduation. Using gratitude, courage, and faith as key words, she traced her own transformation process, recalled the warm memories in the classroom of the China WTO Research Institute, and called on current students to explore the vast world with enthusiasm and faith. Mark, a Thai international student alumni representative, took the stage to speak. He was the first international master’s student in WTO law and economics recruited by w88 casino, and was also one of the first outstanding students of w88 casino to be funded to participate in the “WTO Elite Talents” international organization visiting program in Geneva, Switzerland. He mentioned the unforgettable experience of the visiting program in w88 casino and expressed his gratitude to the instructors of the institute. Hou Bingxi, the current graduate student representative, is a 2022 master's student in w88 casino. He has served as a student party branch organization member, class study committee member and other positions. He will continue to study for a doctoral degree in w88 casino. When he took the stage to speak, he reviewed the institute's cultivation of its international vision and academic capabilities. He expressed his deep gratitude to the institute, teachers and alumni, and vowed to devote himself to economic research and contribute to a powerful trading country. Aqsa, a representative of current international students, is a 2023 Pakistani international student in our institute. She will be sponsored to go to Geneva, Switzerland to participate in our institute’s second “WTO Elite Talent” international organization visiting program. In her speech, she expressed her high respect for the hard work and dedication of all the teachers and administrative staff of the institute, and expressed her gratitude to the institute for providing students with rich Chinese experience and overseas exchange project opportunities.
Every tree and plant of the University of International w88 is intertwined with the dream of progress and innovation; every brick and tile of the Institute remembers the reunion of sweat and glory. The celebration meeting came to an end amidst cheers and applause. After taking a group photo, all the alumni enjoyed the celebration cake and had lunch together, revisiting their alma mater and reminiscing about their w88 casino days.
In the afternoon, the institute also held a fun sports meeting for alumni, teachers and students. Alumni, teachers and students re-experienced campus life in activities such as energy ball passing, table tennis ball running, pot throwing, fixed-point shooting, and two-person and three-legged activities. Smiling faces and cheers witnessed the indelible friendship between teachers and students. It was as if time had gone back, and the pure campus friendship and youthful memories would always be as warm as before. The whole-day celebration also came to a successful conclusion with joy and laughter.
