This year’s China-Korea Business Salon was officially launched on October 19, 2022. Professor Hou Lin from Jeju Tourism University was invited to give the first lecture for this year’s China-Korea Business Salon. With the title of "Review of Twenty Years of Relations between Jeju and China", Professor Hou Lin sorted out the development process of relations between Jeju and China in the context of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, setting the main tone for this year's China-South Korea Business Salon.

11On March 10, Mr. Li Chunri, Chairman of Beijing Newstar Sports and Culture Development Co., Ltd., gave an in-depth analysis of the development process of China-ROK relations with the theme of "The Bond of the Development of Sino-ROK Relations", introduced the successful cases of Chinese Korean enterprises, and emphasized the important role of Korean compatriots in the development of Sino-ROK relations.

11On March 16, Mr. Jin Yizhen, executive vice president of the China Asia Economic Development Association, took the topic of "Chinese Enterprise Development and China-South Korea Cooperation" and analyzed the development process of China and South Korea in various fields such as economy, culture, and personnel exchanges over the past 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations from the perspective of Korean compatriots. He encouraged China-South Korea cooperation and gave a positive outlook on the future development of China and South Korea.

11On March 17, Mr. Lu Shi, a researcher at the Institute of Tourism Management and Economics at Jeju National University, introduced the development history of Chinese and Korean calligraphy and popularized the methods of appreciating calligraphy with the theme of "The Charm of Chinese Culture—Appreciating Calligraphy." From the small to the big in the field of calligraphy, he demonstrated the significance of cultural exchanges in the Sino-Korean Business Salon.

11On March 24, the Confucius Institute specially invited Mr. Ai Hongge, Minister Counselor of the Education Office of the Chinese Embassy in South Korea, to give a closing lecture for this year’s China-Korea Business Salon. With the theme of "Review and Prospects of 30 Years of Educational Exchanges between China and South Korea", and using the cooperation and exchange projects between China and South Korea in the field of education as an entry point, Minister Counselor Ai reviewed the results of exchanges in the field of education between China and South Korea since the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. He also emphasized the importance of cultural exchanges and educational cooperation between China and South Korea under the influence of major changes unseen in a century and the impact of COVID-19, and placed high hopes for the future development of education in the two countries.

So far, the 2022 China-Korea Business Salon of the Confucius Institute for Business at Jeju University has come to a successful conclusion.
