[Competition Introduction]
The Beijing College Student Moot Court Competition was founded in 2009. It is hosted by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and hosted by the China University of Political Science and Law. It adheres to the competition concept of "government-sponsored, expert-led, student-centered, and social participation". Xu serves as the debater (public prosecutor or defender), Fu Zhifei, a 2022 undergraduate student (double major in data law), serves as a witness or defendant, and Cao Jiani, Zhu Yining, and Zhang Yunying, 2021 undergraduate students, serve as investigators. The competition team was established on December 11, 2023. The preparation time is tight and the intensity of the competition is high. [Competition Status]
The first round competition is titled "The Case of the Jewel in the Palm" and revolves around the "crime of kidnapping". In the first round, the University of w88 and Economics team played against the Tianjin University of Finance and Economics team. During the trial, the US w88 casino team as the defense responded calmly, accurately grasped the facts of the case and legal application issues, and demonstrated to the collegial panel the solid and profound legal skills of US w88 students. It was praised by the judges, and finally defeated the opponent and achieved a good start. In this competition, Lin Zeyi was awarded the "Outstanding Individual Award" for a single game.
The second round of the competition is titled "The Shocking Flash Crash Case" and revolves around the "crime of official embezzlement". In the second round of the competition, the China International w88 casino team took the prosecution side against the University of Science and Technology Beijing team, a traditional strong team in this competition. The International w88 casino team faced the challenge confidently, showing obvious professional advantages in both the court investigation and court debate phases. In the end, it impressed the judges from both the factual and legal aspects and won another victory. In this competition, Lin Zeyi once again won the "Outstanding Individual Award" for a single game. At this point, the USIM team has won two games and successfully advanced to the finals with its solid legal foundation and calm and confident courtroom style.
The final competition is titled "The Case of Divination and Suspicious Clouds" and revolves around the crime of "fraud". In the finals, the International w88 casino team faced off against the strong team of the China University of Geosciences (Beijing), which had defeated the w88 casino of International Relations team and the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics team in the first two games. The International w88 casino team once again took the prosecution side. The confrontation between the two parties was very fierce, and both parties demonstrated their good evidence analysis ability and legal application ability. In the court investigation session of this game, the International w88 casino team demonstrated good legal literacy; it was also able to respond to the focus of controversy in a timely manner during the court debate session. In the end, after the judges’ review, the US w88 casino team defeated its opponent. In this competition, classmate Fu Zhifei, who served as a witness, was awarded the "Outstanding Individual Award" for a single game.
