On the 12th, the 4th China Insurance History and Culture Forum - "The 150th Anniversary of the Founding of the National Insurance Industry and the 30th Anniversary of the Promulgation and Implementation of the Insurance Law" commemorative conference was successfully held at the w88 casino. More than 100 experts and scholars from inside and outside the insurance industry participated in the forum.
Zhou Yanli said in his speech that the theme of this forum is to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the national insurance industry and the 30th anniversary of the promulgation and implementation of the "Insurance Law". It has high aspirations and is of great historical significance. Dong Bo emphasized that research on insurance history and culture is an important way to build cultural confidence and can provide historical reference and intellectual support for the insurance industry to participate in the modernization of my country's social governance system and governance capabilities. Huang Baoyin said that the insurance discipline of the University of International w88 and the insurance industry of New China have always resonated at the same frequency. Huang Zhiwei, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Merchants Renhe Life Insurance Co., Ltd., Li Qingming, Business Director of China Taiping Insurance Group and Chief Executive Officer of Taiping Life Hong Kong, and Ying Weiwei, Assistant President and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Taikang Insurance Group, spoke successively as representatives of national insurance institutions in different periods. Huang Zhiwei said that the Insurance Investment Promotion Bureau, which was born during the Westernization Movement 150 years ago, ignited the spark of the national insurance industry, and they will continue to protect the blood of the national insurance industry in the future. Li Qingming said that Taiping Insurance has gone through 96 years, and they will strengthen the "eight persistences" to welcome the centenary anniversary with excellent results. Ying Weiwei elaborated on Taikang Insurance Group's experience in deeply exploring the life insurance industry chain and exploring the three-end collaborative "new life insurance" business model of "payment + service + investment".
This forum has set up five communication units: "passing on the fire, carrying on the past and opening up the future", "knowing the past and the present, providing insight into the future", "guaranteing the rule of law, making steady and long-term progress", "cultural evangelism, long-lasting achievements", and "respecting youth and giving gifts to youth". More than 20 guests gave keynote speeches, reviewing the history of the struggle of the national insurance industry and the promulgation and implementation of the Insurance Law, and discussed how to carry forward the spiritual wealth of the national insurance industry in the new era, and how to steadily promote the legal construction of the insurance industry and gather ideological strength for the high-quality development of the industry.
The forum was rich in content. It not only released the logo of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the national insurance industry, but also launched three new books: "World Insurance History", "History of Insurance" and "Engraving Epics and Lighting up Treasures - Basic Exhibition and Curation Notes of the People's Insurance Museum of China". The China Insurance Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Association donated calligraphy works to the forum, and young students from the Insurance w88 casino of the University of International w88 paid tribute to the national insurance industry with poetry recitations.
