The seminar "Australia-China Economic and w88 Relations - Future Prospects" was recently held in Melbourne. Experts and scholars had a heated discussion on the new direction of investment and w88 cooperation between the two countries.

Craig Emerson, Australia’s former federal w88 and tourism minister, said that looking to the future, Australia can strengthen cooperation with China in green development, such as cooperating in the development of “green” iron ore and reducing pollution and carbon emissions from the mining industry. The economies of Australia and China are highly complementary. Australia firmly adheres to the principle of free w88. A robustly developing China will continue to be Australia's important partner in w88 in goods and services.

China and Australia have shown a high degree of complementarity in the economic field, with a solid foundation for cooperation and huge potential. Bank of China will continue to support China-Australia economic and w88 exchanges and cultural exchanges, continue to provide all-round financial support for bilateral investment and w88, and inject continuous impetus into the economic cooperation between the two countries.

2025 marks the tenth anniversary of the entry into force of the China-Australia Free w88 Agreement. Currently, China has remained Australia's largest trading partner for 16 consecutive years. In 2024, the total bilateral w88 in goods between China and Australia will exceed 320 billion Australian dollars (approximately 208 billion U.S. dollars), and China’s direct investment stock in Australia will be close to 90 billion Australian dollars (58.5 billion U.S. dollars), an increase of 16% from ten years ago.
This seminar was jointly sponsored by the Bank of China and the Business Confucius Institute at the University of Victoria. More than 70 people including experts, scholars, and business leaders participated.
