In order to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on financial work and actively cultivating financial culture with Chinese characteristics, CCTV’s “Hundred Forums” column planned and produced the “Hundred Forums·Jiachen Edition” special program “The Tao of Finance”. Professor Wang Tianyi and Associate Professor Bian Yang of the China University of Finance and Economics served as the guest speakers for the third and tenth programs respectively. They systematically sorted out the development of my country's monetary and financial history from the aspects of politics, ideology, economy, and culture. They explained the excellent traditional culture and ideas that our country has formed in the monetary and financial fields since ancient times, as well as the creative transformation and innovative development of these excellent traditional cultures and ideas in the new era. They told the story of China's finance from multiple perspectives and interpreted the financial culture with Chinese characteristics.

Professor Wang Tianyi lectured on the theme "Credit is the foundation of building the foundation", and Associate Professor Bian Yang lectured on the theme "No rules can make a circle". They started from the requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping to "promote high-quality financial development and build a strong financial country: be honest and trustworthy, and do not cross the bottom line; make profits with justice, not profit-seeking; be prudent and prudent, and do not rush for quick success; be honest and innovative, and do not stray from the real to the fictitious; comply with laws and regulations, and do not act recklessly". It tells vivid and vivid financial stories with Chinese characteristics such as ancient currency legislation, the internal control system of the modern financial industry, and the red financial miracle amid the anti-Japanese artillery fire. It demonstrates the rich financial thoughts and cultural traditions contained in China's excellent traditional culture, and reveals the importance of enhancing financial cultural consciousness and self-confidence.

The college will participate in the recording of this program as an important measure to implement the spirit of the Central Financial Work Conference, promote "three-round education", and teach "ideological and political courses". Two teachers led 8 students including Weng Lei, Luan Shaohong, Shi Yujie, Zhu Ziqi, Zhang Luhan, Yuan Yizhou, Zhang Jianbin, and Wu Han They jointly participated in the script writing of the program, deeply studied Xi Jinping’s economic thoughts and Xi Jinping’s cultural thoughts, and deeply understood General Secretary Xi Jinping’s five practical requirements for actively cultivating a financial culture with Chinese characteristics in the process of sorting out China’s excellent traditional financial culture, the history of red financial development, and China’s financial development achievements in the new era. Using the recording site of CCTV's 100 Forums as a financial culture ideological and political course, more than 20 students were organized to participate in the program recording process on-site, guiding students to have an in-depth understanding of the financial culture with Chinese characteristics, and determined to contribute to promoting high-quality financial development in the new era and building a financial power.

The special program "The Tao of Finance" of "Baijia Forum·Jiachen Edition" will be broadcast on CCTV's 10 science and education channels from July 7 to July 17. The first broadcast time is 12:00 and the replay time is 21:57. The third and tenth issues lectured by Professor Wang Tianyi and Associate Professor Bian Yang were broadcast on July 9 and 16 respectively.
