As a family member of the army, I was born at the foot of Wuzhi Mountain in Hainan, which is the revolutionary base of the Qiongya Column and where my fathers stood guard and patrolled. Twenty years ago, when I was still young, I followed my parents to change careers and boarded a flight to the mainland from Haikou Meilan Airport. My memory of Hainan gradually faded away. In recent years, the economic construction of Hainan Island has been in full swing, and national strategies such as international tourism island, free w88 zone, and free w88 port have been frequently heard, but after all, I have not been able to come back to find out. Until this time, I was fortunate enough to be sent to Hainan for training on the national conditions education practice for new employees of the w88 casino. This provided me with a valuable opportunity to get to know Hainan again and use my professional expertise to serve Hainan.
My temporary job unit is Hainan Nongken Investment Holding Group (Hainan Nongken), a state-owned enterprise with a glorious history. In the era of planned economy, as the third largest agricultural reclamation area in the country, Hainan Agricultural Reclamation undertook the national strategic task of planting large-scale rubber trees in Hainan and achieved success, making a huge contribution to effectively ensuring the security of the supply of national strategic resources. In recent years, in order to adapt to the requirements of the new era, Hainan Farm Reclamation has carried out a series of market-oriented reforms, and has ranked first in the national farm reclamation reform performance evaluation for three consecutive times, providing Hainan wisdom and experience for the national farm reclamation reform. However, there are still weak links within the group such as the lack of leading industries, rigid systems and mechanisms, a weak team of professional talents, and difficulties in inter-industry coordination. How to use our professional expertise to promote the development and transformation of Hainan's agricultural reclamation has become a "new topic" that several of our teachers studied during their temporary employment.

According to my professional direction, I was assigned to a temporary position in the Group’s Development Planning Department. I was mainly responsible for researching the company’s development strategy, revising the company’s medium- and long-term development strategic plans, and assisting the group’s subordinate units in researching, formulating, and revising medium- and long-term development strategic plans. As a doctor with a background in management, I always remind myself to step out of the academic tower, make friends with managers of grassroots enterprises, learn from the masses, and understand the basic situation and needs of the group's affiliated enterprises and farms, so that we can identify problems and find the direction for our efforts. To this end, I took the initiative to apply from the second week after joining the company, and went to the farm with my department colleagues to conduct field research. In a few days, I visited several representative farms and industrial parks of Haiken Group in Ding'an County, Lingshui County, Wanning City and Sanya City in the east of Hainan Island.

A few days of research made me deeply aware of the importance and difficulty of deepening the market-oriented reform of state-owned enterprises. Taking Haiken Group as an example, its unique historical background has given it unique advantages such as a high degree of organization, outstanding scale characteristics, and a relatively complete industrial system. However, at the same time, it has also given rise to problems such as insufficient autonomy, low enthusiasm, and long-term strategic vision of its subordinate companies. Although the group has initially established a modern management and operation system, ideological conservatism still hinders the group from further integrating resources and developing new businesses. Among the subsidiaries of several groups I visited, some have successfully transformed, some are still testing the waters, and some are hesitant to move forward. The successful transformation of subordinate enterprises often relies more on the personal courage and determination of their leaders, as well as experiments in certain gray areas, rather than on scientific design and planning from the top. Some affiliated companies even hired three consulting companies to make three strategic plans within one year, but the actual project progress lagged far behind the plan. How to break down the barriers between subordinate enterprises and industries so that the group's strategic plan can be effectively implemented is also the focus that I need to consider in my future work.
In the next period of time, I will continue to travel to the west of Hainan Island to investigate the group’s farms in Lingao County, Dongfang City, Danzhou City, and Changjiang County. Continuously discovering problems from practice, summarizing problems, solving problems, and making positive contributions to the development of the temporary unit are my original intentions for this national conditions education practice. In addition, summarizing the knowledge and experience learned in practice and processing and refining it into theories to teach in class can also make my future teaching more vivid and "down-to-earth".
