In late September 2020, 32 new teachers went to four practice sites in Qingdao, Shandong, Shenzhen, Guandong, Haikou, Hainan, and Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, kicking off their practice of education, teaching, subject research, and think tank construction. Hainan Province is located at the southernmost tip of China, guarding the southern gate of China and an important port for China's opening up to the outside world. On September 22, 2020, I and 12 other teachers from the Hainan branch of the National Conditions Education Group of the w88 casino traveled from Beijing, which was in early autumn, to Haikou, Hainan, which was still in the warm summer. This year, our practice location is the Hainan Vocational and Technical College of Economics and w88, where the Hainan Institute of w88 and Economics is located. Judging from the students' responses, it is indeed easier for them to become interested in personal stories, while they are more likely to be afraid of concepts and theories and give up learning. This also made me realize that in a long lecture, setting up some interesting stories and excitement is really important to keep students paying attention.
Lecture: Governance and inheritance of family businesses
The course "Advanced Financial Management" is the first time I have officially undertaken the teaching work of a course. This course is taught to students who have just graduated from junior college to undergraduate this year. They have a professional foundation at the junior college level and are relatively mature in age and psychology. From preparing lessons to teaching, from simply teaching to asking students to answer questions, to asking students to report and present, I have seen my own growth and the progress of my students. When the students expressed their regrets about why I couldn't stay for one more month and attend a few more classes, I deeply felt the satisfaction and joy that a teacher can get from students' positive feedback.
Lecture: Advanced Financial Management
In the past two months, in addition to practical activities on the Maritime Economic and w88 Campus, we also went out of the campus to conduct social practice and research. Under the leadership of Mr. He from the same group, we visited Hainan Ecological Software Park and CNOOC Hainan Branch to visit and study. The park's policy support for settled enterprises, talent supporting support policies, ecological environment design, and the resulting value creation provide an excellent model for the construction of other industrial parks.

After finishing the visit to the Science and Technology Ecological Park, we came to CNOOC Hainan Branch again. CNOOC Hainan Branch has just moved from Zhanjiang, Guangdong to Haikou. The relocation of such a large enterprise also reflects the support of central enterprises and the state for the development of Hainan. The investment characteristics and working capital arrangements of oil companies also have their own characteristics. For example, trading gas is an important source of CNOOC's natural gas reserves, but its international price fluctuates greatly. How to reduce the import cost of trading gas is an important problem for the company. We also visited CNOOC’s offshore drilling platform model and gained a deeper understanding of the huge fixed asset cost investment in the oil industry. This gives me stronger practical support for future research.

In the past two months of our life in Hainan, we basically spent it in Guilinyang University Town, far away from the urban area. Our daily life at three o'clock and one line every day seemed to be back to the doctorate stage, down-to-earth and comfortable. Two months of national practice is coming to an end, and the first lesson of my teaching career is also coming to an end. As the first stop of my career, this trip not only allowed me to practice my teaching ability, but also gained me a lot and made me feel a lot.
