This lecture includes three parts: Chinese geography, history, and language differences. Professor Zhu Xiaoshu gave a detailed introduction to China's geographical conditions, ethnic distribution, and climate characteristics through concise and intuitive pictures. She introduced the students to the famous tourist attractions in China, such as the Great Wall of China, Guilin Landscape, and Hangzhou West Lake. She also showed the audience the changes in dynasties in China from ancient times to the present, as well as the rise and fall of the Republic of China and the founding of New China through a concise and clear chronological table.

In the lecture, Professor Zhu Xiaoshu’s relaxed and humorous speech made the students laugh continuously. His explanation in simple terms and the cross-cultural communication cases combined with his own experience left a deep impression on the students.StudentFeel the vastness of China, the beauty of mountains and rivers, and the brilliance of culture in a pleasant atmosphere. At the end of the lecture, the students were still unsatisfied and asked questions and exchanges, and unanimously expressed the hope that the Confucius Institute could hold more similar cultural lectures.
