This project is oriented to the need for theoretical innovation in building an innovative country and solving the complex diversity unique to family business inheritance. It is based on the institutional gap characteristics of my country's transitional economy, takes family heterogeneity and corporate innovation behavior as the research objects, and explores the construction of a theoretical framework that family heterogeneity affects corporate innovation behavior. Based on this, it explains the macro-innovation national strategic needs and micro-family business intergenerational inheritance that cause many governance issues. The project advances the research on strategic innovation from the macro level to the micro enterprise level, providing the micro determinants of China's economic growth. It has important theoretical and practical significance for understanding the innovative behavior of Chinese enterprises at the current stage and the efficiency of China's economic growth. After the project was approved in 2015, Professor Chen Deqiu led the research team to conduct in-depth research on corporate innovation, family governance, and institutional ecology in the context of Chinese characteristics.
