Professor Wang Ning is currently a review expert of the Chinese Literature Group of the National Social Science Foundation and a review expert of the Literature and Art Group of the Yangtze River Scholars Award Program of the Ministry of Education. He has been engaged in research work in comparative literature and world literature, postcolonialism, translation studies, cultural studies, media studies and other fields for many years. He has a high reputation in the Chinese academic community. At the same time, Professor Wang Ning is also a world-class scholar. In addition to publishing two English monographs, 20 Chinese monographs and nearly 450 Chinese papers, he has also He has published more than 130 English papers in more than 30 authoritative international journals or anthologies, and has included more than 100 papers in SSCI or A&HCI databases. Some papers have been translated into Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Serbian, French, Arabic, etc., and have a wide influence in the international humanities and social sciences. Professor Wang Ning was elected as an academician of the Latin American Academy of Sciences in 2010 and a foreign academician of the European Academy of Sciences in 2013, becoming the first Chinese (including Hong Kong and Taiwan) humanities and social sciences scholar to receive this honor.
