President Jiang Wei once served as a professor and doctoral supervisor at Renmin University of China. He is currently Vice President of the China Law Society, President of the Network and Information Law Research Association of the China Law Society, and Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Supreme People's Court. He participated in the drafting of documents for the Central Committee Plenary Sessions for many times and was a member of the Central Document Propaganda Team. He has presided over research topics such as major projects of the National Social Science Fund (chief expert), published 5 personal monographs, edited more than 10 books, participated in the writing of nearly 30 books such as "Introduction to Xi Jinping's Thought on the Rule of Law", a key textbook for the Central Marxist Theory Research and Construction Project, and published more than 200 papers and articles in "Chinese Social Sciences", "Chinese Law", "Legal Research", "People's Daily", "Qiushi" and other newspapers and periodicals, and "Xinhua Digest" reprinted 4 papers.

President Jiang Wei made an in-depth analysis of the motivations for judicial reform in our country. He pointed out that judicial reform is driven by international trends, the background of the times, and actual judicial needs. He focused on the four key areas of my country's current judicial reform, namely, the operation of judicial power and judicial experience, civil servants' treatment and professional attributes, human resource allocation and litigation efficiency, human, financial and material management, and independent exercise of power, and deeply analyzed the importance of solving these problems in promoting judicial reform.
President Jiang Wei systematically sorted out the ideas of judicial reform in our country. He emphasized that to clarify the correct direction of judicial reform, we must first grasp the essence of the reform, that is, the self-improvement of the socialist judicial system, and adhere to the path of judicial reform with Chinese characteristics. At the same time, he emphasized that the goal of my country's judicial reform is to accelerate the construction of a fair, efficient and authoritative socialist judicial system and strive to make the people feel fairness and justice in every judicial case.
