[Editor's Note] Reminiscing about the past, the years are full of vicissitudes; a century of great achievements is the prime time of prosperity. It is the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China. Looking back on the 100-year history of the Party, we sigh at the great ups and downs of the journey and feel that the original sincerity of the sons and daughters of the Party has only grown stronger over time. The more than 91 million Communist Party members are the backbone of the Chinese nation's continuous struggle and courageous advancement. They are also the hope of the times for the Chinese Communist Party to inherit its beliefs and strengthen the country and enrich the people. On the afternoon of June 24, w88 casino held the "Two Priorities and One First" July 1st Commendation Conference to warmly celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and solemnly commend advanced collectives and individuals. I was admitted to the Department of Finance of Renmin University of China in the autumn of 1981. In the winter of 1984, I joined the Communist Party of China. In the summer of 1988, he entered college and became a people's teacher. Looking back on the past, how lucky it is that an individual's destiny can intersect with the great rivers of the times in the era of reform and opening up! It was this high-spirited era that trained me to become a Communist Party member.
I was born into a family of teachers. My parents were children from poor families in old China. After liberation, they entered middle w88 casino and had the opportunity to enter university. Like many young people at that time, my father and mother enthusiastically entered the Industrial University to study mechanical manufacturing and chemical industry. They joined the Communist Party of China in college. Growing up listening to the stories of my parents, I have had a natural love and yearning for the Party since I was a child. As I grow older and study more deeply, my knowledge and understanding of the Party gradually deepens and matures.
What shapes the spiritual temperament of our "new generation in the 1980s" must be the magnificent "reform and opening up". When I was in high w88 casino, I got to know Mr. Li, an overseas student in the 1940s, who was an accomplished chemist. I went to visit him before the college entrance examination. He was seriously ill and bedridden. Teacher Li said to me: China is about to engage in economic construction. Renmin University of China has a national economic management major. You should study this major and do something for the country in the future. When Mr. Li was young, he was determined to save the country through industry, but his personal fate was very bumpy. At the end of his life, he keenly foresaw that the country would undergo profound changes and pinned his hopes on the younger generation. The dark room and the earnest teachings are still fresh in my memory. It repeatedly warned me that getting rid of poverty and backwardness is the dream of generations of Chinese people, but only under the leadership of the Communist Party of China can the Chinese people realize the great ideal of prosperity and strength.
After entering Renmin University of China, I met a group of outstanding teachers. Teachers ushered in the second spring of their academic careers in the new era of reform and opening up. I remember that the "Political Economy" course required reading "Das Kapital" and the final exam was an oral exam. The head of the department, Mr. Huang Da, will personally go to the examination room to listen to students answer questions and understand the quality of teaching. Even when he became the principal, Teacher Huang Da never delayed teaching, and always personally invigilated exams, corrected papers, and visited students' defense sites. In the 1980s, new problems and contradictions faced by the country emerged one after another. Teachers devoted themselves wholeheartedly to teaching and scientific research. Teacher Huang Da’s comprehensive balance theory of fiscal credit and Teacher Wang Chuanlun’s academic achievements in the fields of foreign-related tax system construction and financial opening-up will be reflected in the classroom teaching content. The teachers’ rigorous and pragmatic style of study, and the guiding role of scientific and rational academic research in national system construction and policy regulation, have influenced young students like spring breeze. The teachers really wrote the thesis on the land of the motherland. They are the educators of the students and the guides of our lives. Their common identity is the Communist Party members. Under the influence of teachers, many students submitted applications to join the party. In November 1984, the Party branch of the Department of Finance developed two student party members at the 81st level, and I gloriously became a probationary member of the Communist Party of China.
The above is the story of my joining the party. In the late 1980s, a professor from the University of Tokyo visited the Finance Department of Renmin University of China and sent him a copy machine. The Japanese professor said: How can a university department head not even have a copy machine? Gone are the days of such embarrassment. The ideal of the Chinese nation to stand among the nations of the world has been realized.
As a Chinese, as a member of the Communist Party, I can directly participate in the great practice of the Communist Party of China in leading the Chinese people from correcting chaos to reform and opening up, to building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way, and leading the Chinese people to embark on a new journey of building a modern country. On the day of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, I feel extremely honored.
“Join the Party once in a lifetime organizationally, and join the Party once in a lifetime ideologically.” In my future work, I will continue to strengthen my study and cultivate more new-era talents for the party and the country.
