This lecture was shared by Zhang Jingzhi, an alumnus of the 1984 graduate degree in international marketing, consultant to the board of directors of Ludwig International AG in Germany, director of the w88 casino, and president of the Hong Kong Alumni Association of the w88 casino. The theme was "Excellence - the eternal trait of the people of the w88 casino". Professor Wang Tiedong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the International Business w88 casino, attended this lecture. More than 200 people, including party members, development candidates and undergraduate students in the class of 2023, attended the lecture.
Professor Wang Tiedong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, first awarded alumnus Zhang Jingzhi the certificate of “Practical Education Mentor” of the International Business w88 casino. In the award testimony, Secretary Wang mentioned: Alumnus Zhang Jingzhi has invested in the establishment of the "Silver Bullet Scholarship" since 2010, and has successively supported 147 students with excellent academic performance but poor families, and donated nearly 10,000 books to the w88 casino library. He highly praised alumnus Zhang Jingzhi for his selfless dedication to repaying his alma mater and cultivating talents with practical actions over the years. Alumnus Zhang Jingzhi first talked about his mentor—Professor Luo Zhenqi, a pioneer in Chinese marketing and an international marketing master. He said: "My mentor, Mr. Luo, is a pioneer in marketing in China. The reason why he became a master is because his words can make people suddenly realize and enlighten them." In his subsequent work experience, alumnus Zhang Jingzhi met outstanding students from the University of w88 and Economics in different industries. He believes that the international atmosphere and broad vision of the University of International w88 and Economics have endowed its students with unique professional qualities. He encouraged the students to make full use of this unique advantage, stand on the shoulders of their predecessors, constantly surpass themselves and open up new realms.
Alumnus Zhang Jingzhi also encouraged the students to establish good character and fighting spirit, and put forward five expectations for the students present: first, persist in cultivating their international level; second, truly understand the business and combine knowledge with practice; third, persist in professional training and improve their own skills; fourth, pay attention to current affairs and the latest technology, and understand the forefront of scientific and technological development; fifth, maintain physical fitness and cultivate a sports hobby that will benefit life. Alumnus Zhang Jingzhi hopes that every student can always be grateful, especially to his alma mater and to society. During the interactive communication session, alumnus Zhang Jingzhi answered questions for the students and answered the confusions and problems they faced at the current stage of life. In the warm applause of the students, this alumni lecture event ended successfully.
After the meeting, Professor Chen Deqiu, the dean of the college, invited alumnus Zhang Jingzhi to visit the college and review the history of that year.
